ELEVEN Australia’s Creative Directors are Australian icons and leaders in the hair industry – three-time Australian Hairdresser of the Year, Joey Scandizzo, and Australian Photographer of the Year, Andrew O’Toole. Working in the salon, photo shoots and runways; Joey recognised the need for a range his staff and clients could easily understand. Together the duo set about creating ELEVEN Australia – a brand that embodies the Australian lifestyle and is all about simple, effective hair products.

Smooth & Shine Anti-Frizz Serum contains a range of ingredients including Organic Argan Oil to provide heat protection. For optimum heat protection, we recommend prepping the hair with Miracle Hair Treatment before heat styling as it’s lightweight and suited to all hair types.
All products are pH balanced to the hair, scalp and skin. Our shampoos are between 5.5-6.5 which helps opens the cuticle, while our conditioners and treatments range between 3.0-4.5 helps close the cuticle and seal the hair.
All our tubs, from Dry Powder Volume Paste to Extra Hold Styling Clay, easily rinse out in water. Of course, we always recommend using a shampoo suited to your hair type for the benefits they provide.
Good news! Most the range is gluten free. Apart from products that contain Hydrolysed Wheat Protein to condition and add volume to hair, every product is gluten free.
We’re happy to say we have styling products, shampoo, conditioners and treatments that are perfect for vegan customers. Take a look on our website for our complete list. The only animal products we use are things like high quality silk amino acids sourced from silk worms, lanolin sourced from sheep’s wool; and beeswax. Yes! All ELEVEN Australia products are paraben free.
I’m happy to let you know our conditioners, treatments and styling products are all sulphate free. Our shampoos contain a small amount of sulphates derived from coconut to create a rich lather. It’s also a gentler sulphate compared to SLS or palm oil derived sulphates.
When the range first began, we did extensive focus group testing. We discovered that women want a shampoo that provides a thorough clean with lather but doesn’t compromise their hair colour. Our anti-fade, colour safe technology uses ingredients like Trideceth-9, PG-Amodimethicone and Trideceth-12 to lock-in hair colour while washing.
